I spoke with an HR Manager last week, who, I’m happy to say, is now a client. In fact, one of them even told my client that they had placed hundreds of programmers in various positions without any problems and that their IT Engineering Manager was being too picky. Just because a handful of candidate placements have worked in the past does not make you an expert in software engineering. There’s no one-size-fits-all model. Also, the recruiting world is ever-changing, and technology is advancing at a rapid pace. A strategy used in the past may not work in today’s world.
